Photography Rates
I provide complimentary animal portraits for adoptable animals currently with shelters or rescues.
Private animal portrait sessions start at $200 for one hour.
Retouching rates are $100 per hour.

What your investment covers...
Photography can be quite costly and can vary widely from artist to artist and company to company with little explanation of what you're really paying for. I understand the importance of a budget so she strives to provide clients with a clear understanding of what they will receive should you choose Autumn Beckman Photography.
First, your investment includes expenses for materials such as camera equipment (a primary DSLR camera, a backup DSLR camera, and a variety of lenses), digital photo media/storage, archival quality photo papers and inks, and the fuel for me to drive to and from on-location sessions. Studio portraits also include the use of as studio lighting, backdrops, and props.
Your investment also includes my time for the photography session itself, digital darkroom editing and retouching, and post-production work.
Most importantly, your investment includes my artistic experience and my dedication to making every photograph as beautiful it can be. When you select Autumn Beckman Photography, you choose an artist with 25 years of experience developing her artistic talent through drawing, painting, photography, design, and film (see the About section for information on where I've studied); an artist with an eye for composition, color, light, and all the things that make a photograph noteworthy. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the medium of photography including film, darkroom, digital and Photoshop.
Many photographers batch process digital photographs, meaning they apply the same edits or corrections to a group of photos at once. I work with each photographs individually; ensuring the highest quality results. For this reason, it can sometimes take 30 minutes or more to retouch a single photograph.
Here are a few examples of common retouches that Autumn performs:
- Blemish removal
- Teeth and eye whitening
- Contrast, color, and tone adjustments
- Removal of unwanted items from the image
- Conversion to black and white
- Addition of vignette
- Cropping
- Resizing (ie.: 8x10, 5x7, 4x6, 2x3, and internet-ready)
